The Palm Beach Police Department, in partnership with The Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation, Inc. offers a week-long Police & Fire Foundation Teen Academy program to children of Palm Beach residents, ages 11-14. .JPG)
When: | The Police & Fire Foundation Teen Academy program is a one-week program held in the month of June. (Date to be announced). Sessions run from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Participants are required to attend all five sessions. Date to be announced for 2020 |
Where: | Palm Beach Police Department, 345 South County Road, Palm Beach |
Who Can Apply: | The Police & Fire Foundation Teen Academy is available for teens from 11-14 years of age who live in Palm Beach or attend school in town. The program is free of charge and Academy shirts will be provided. |
How to Apply: | Student and his/her parent should fill out an application form from the Palm Beach Police Department, |
What’s Included: | There is no charge for this program. All lunches and transportation for field trips will be provided. A class shirt will also be provided. Applicants must be prepared to attend all sessions and must have permission to take part in all scheduled activities.

A graduation ceremony will take place on the last day of the program in Town Council Chambers. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Graduates of the Teen Police Academy become part of the Palm Beach Police Department family and will be invited to take part in activities with other Teen Academy Recruits throughout the year.
