[ARCHIVED] Camp Palm Beach Summer Registration Begins

Recreation Center’s Camp Palm Beach is gearing up for another summer of fun and adventure for kids ages 5 (or entering Kindergarten in 2019) - 15.

Camp Palm Beach provides a variety of safe, age-appropriate, engaging indoor/outdoor games, activities, special events, field trips and more from June 17-August 9. Camp runs from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in 8 weekly sessions with options for Early Drop-Off from 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and Extended Camp from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. for additional fees. Due to the construction of a new recreation center, summer camp will be held at the Palm Beach Day Academy, 241 Seaview Avenue.

Activities include nerf wars, water wars, pajamas and pancakes party, glow light parties, the amazing race; field trips to places like Biscayne Bay Nature Center, Funky Fish Ocean Adventures, Adrenaline’s, Fun Depot, Boomers, Lighthouse Cove Mini Golf, Monkey Joe’s, Calypso Bay Water Park, Rapids Water Park, Science Museums, the Zoo, canoe/kayaking at Okeeheelee Park, catamaran snorkeling and Islands of Adventure (Club Teen only). We are also continuing our extended camp tennis group clinics, which includes two, ½ hour group tennis lessons each week.

Campers and parents are invited to meet the counselors and staff of Camp Palm Beach at our Meet & Greet, Saturday, June 15, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the Palm Beach Day Academy, 241 Seaview Avenue (look for the sign on Seaview Avenue on the east end of the school). There will be games, activities and light refreshments. We encourage all new campers to attend.

Registration, which can be done over the phone, or in person, has begun for residents (proof of residency required) and will begin Monday, April 15 for nonresidents.

Groups & Fees: Resident Nonresident

Dolphins: (Ages 5-7) & Stingrays, (Ages 8-10) $147/wk $182/wk

Club Teen: Ages 11-14 $168/wk $208/wk

Early Drop-Off: $ 22/wk $ 27/wk

Extended Camp: $ 55/wk $ 61/wk

Registration Fee: $ 30/child
