The Teen Police Academy program is a one week program held this summer. Participation is required for all five days, Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There is no charge for this program. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
On Friday afternoon, at 4:15 p.m., we will have a graduation ceremony. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
Some of the exciting things we have planned are ride-alongs in the police boat, and a tour of the Palm Beach County Jail. We will have sessions on Use of Force, Firearms Safety, Crime Scene Investigation, Drug Awareness, Water Rescue, First Aid/CPR and Social Media concerns.
As a graduate of the Teen Police Academy, you are part of the Palm Beach Police Department family and you will be invited to take part in activities with other Teen Academy recruits throughout the year. We are excited about having you with us and we anticipate that you will have great week.
