Town Council to Appoint an Alternate Member to the Landmarks Preservation Commission

Commission member opening for an alternate position on the Landmarks Preservation Commission effective immediately.

This commission reviews and approves structural and landscape modifications to designated structures and properties. Members must be registered voters of the Town and are appointed by Town Council based on having, to the highest extent practicable, a special knowledge of and a known interest in landmarks preservation.

All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Landmarks Preservation Commission must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office in hard copy or via electronic transmission to townclerk@townofpalmbeach.com by Friday, May 3, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.  The appointments to the Landmarks Preservation Commission will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

The board/commission applications can be downloaded from the Town’s website (www.townofpalmbeach.com). Please note that the Town’s website reflects specific applications for each board or commission. Applications may also be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office at (561) 838-5416.
