[ARCHIVED] Palm Beach Police Teen Police Academy: June 10 – 14, 2019

The Palm Beach Police Department, in partnership with the Palm Beach Police Foundation, is offering a week-long Teen Police Academy program to children of Palm Beach residents, ages 12-13.


•    The Teen Police Academy program is a one-week program, beginning Monday, June 10th through Friday, June 14, 2019.  Sessions run from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Participants are required to attend all five sessions.

•    The program is free of charge.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.  Participants should advise about any dietary restrictions or allergies.

•    A graduation ceremony will take place on Friday, June 14th at 4:15 p.m.  Parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

•    “Ride-Alongs” in the official police boat and a tour of the Palm Beach County Jail in Palm Beach are among the experiences planned, as well as sessions about Use of Force, Firearms Safety, Crime Scene Investigations, Drug Awareness, Water Rescue, First Aid/CPR and Social Media concerns.


Graduates of the Teen Police Academy become part of the Palm Beach Police Department family and will be invited to take part in activities with other Teen Academy recruits throughout the year.
