[ARCHIVED] Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course Maintenance

golf

The Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course will be verticutting tees, fairways and collars June 21-29, 2018. Play on the golf course will be unaffected. Verticutting is a process of cutting the grass plants vertically. This process makes the turf healthier by removing thatch and thinning out the turf, which encourages the plant to grow up right and will make the ball sit up on the turf.  There may be some slight discoloration of the turf which will heal up in a few weeks making the playing surfaces much better.
