[ARCHIVED] Town Offices Closed on May 28th for Memorial Day: Golf Course, Tennis Courts, and Town Docks Open

In observance of Memorial Day, all Town offices will be closed on Monday, May 28th and construction work or landscaping will not be allowed.  Certain Town recreational facilities will be open and the public beaches will have lifeguards on duty from

9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

 

Par 3 Golf Course:                     Open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Phipps Ocean Park Tennis:     Open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Seaview Tennis:                         Open from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.  

Town Dock’s Office:                 Open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Recreation Center:                  Closed.


On May 28th residential garbage will only be collected for residences on Kawama Lane/Chateaux Drive north to E. Inlet Drive.  No other residential areas of the island will be serviced.  Commercial garbage (seven-day service) will be collected as usual.

There will be no yard trash collection on May 28th.  Stash areas will be serviced during residential collection from May 29th through June 1nd.
