[ARCHIVED] Mature Driver Insurance Discount Course

The Palm Beach Police Department will be holding a Mature Driver Insurance Discount Course on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in partnership with the Safety Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. The course will be held at the Town of Palm Beach Fire-Rescue Station meeting room, 2185 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach.

This six-hour classroom course has been developed for the senior experienced driver. It reviews basic driving techniques and introduces techniques to help offset the effects of having a crash while driving. Coaching the Mature Driver combines lecture with discussion and video in a lively and informative format.  

The state of Florida offers an insurance discount for licensed drivers 55 or older who complete this course.

The cost of the course is $12.00 per person. Lunch provided courtesy of Palm Beach Crime Watch, Inc. To reserve your spot at this course please call the Safety Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. at 561-845-8233.
