The Town of Palm Beach is seeking to appoint three (3) members to the Retirement Board of Trustees. Currently, there are two (2) trustees and one (1) employee representative whose terms will expire on April 1, 2023. The trustees are eligible to apply for additional terms. The Town is actively seeking a new employee representative internally.
The Retirement Board of Trustees acts in a fiduciary capacity for the Town’s retirement funds and in an advisory capacity to the Town Council on matters relating to the administration of the Town’s various retirement plans. The Retirement Board of Trustees will meet at least quarterly.
All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Retirement Board of Trustees must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office by Friday, March 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. The appointments to the Retirement Board of Trustees will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
