[ARCHIVED] Town Council to Appoint Member(s) to the Retirement Board of Trustees

The Town of Palm Beach announces two (2) regular member openings to the Retirement Board of Trustees effective March 1, 2022. The Town is actively seeking the police employee representative internally.

The Retirement Board of Trustees acts in a fiduciary capacity for the Town’s retirement funds and in an advisory capacity to the Town Council on matters relating to the administration of the Town’s various retirement plans. The Retirement Board of Trustees will meet at least quarterly, with more frequent meetings anticipated during the initial transitional phase of this board.    

All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Retirement Board of Trustees (RBT) must complete the appropriate application for service online by February 25, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.  The appointments to RBT will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2022
