Earlier today the Town of Palm Beach held our annual Hurricane Preparedness Seminar virtually. Meteorologist James Weiland of WPTV Channel 5 headlined our seminar with information regarding the 2021 Hurricane season forecast, the National Hurricane Center’s newest technology, and WPTV’s technology for severe weather forecasting and information. Additional speakers included our Emergency Management Director and Fire Rescue Chief Darrel Donatto, Palm Beach Police Lieutenant Paul Alber, and Fire Rescue Division Chief Sean Baker. Staff covered how to prepare, what to do during and after the storm, and the Town’s response plan.

If you were unable to participate or missed some of the information, please click the link below to watch the seminar.
