The Palm Beach Recreation Department’s Mandel Recreation Center is preparing for its winter session with a variety of youth and adult enrichment, sports and wellness programs. Whether you want to learn something new, hone an existing skill or get your mind and body in shape, the Mandel Recreation Center has something for everyone! Start your New Year off by joining us and Live Well at the Mandel!

Pre-school and youth programs include Toddler Social, Preschool Readiness, Movin’ & Groovin’ and Mix it Up Art with Rhythm & Hues;  Tot Tumbling and Gymnastics with Gold Coast Gymnastics; Systema Karate with Floyd Karate Institute; Communications Prep with Mary Brennan and Hip Hop with Sean Green of Sean’s Dance Factory. Preschool and youth sports include Story Time Soccer, and Winter Soccer with Select Soccer; Little Hoopsters Basketball, Basketball Skills Academy and the Basketball League with Perseverance Basketball. Youth fitness classes include Youth Strength Training with HealthFitness and KidFit.

Adult enrichment programs include Italian for Beginners, High Beginners, and Intermediate/Advanced with Laura Antonnaci; French for Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced with Michele Bradley, and Digital Photography with Joel Cohen. Adult wellness and fitness programs include Stretch & Relaxation and Body Conditioning with Sandee Sineni; and Strength Circuit, Abs Blast, Yoga, Balance and Stability, Pure Toning and Mat Pilates Fusion with HealthFitness. Along with their youth programs, Perseverance Basketball is offering an Adult League for 18+ as well as private training sessions in the Smith Family Fieldhouse.

Our Fitness Center offers Town residents’ cardio equipment, weight machines, and personal and small group training for all fitness levels. Several memberships and series passes are available.

Winter session begins January 11. Resident registration for the winter session is ongoing. Proof of residency is required to receive resident rates. Nonresident registration begins December 14. Registration may be done over the phone at 561-838-5485, in person at 340 Seaview Avenue, or online at palmbeachrecreation.com.
