Starting Tuesday evening, April 7, 2020, the City of West Palm Beach and their contractor, Johnson-Davis, will be performing sub-surface utility exploration work on Cocoanut Row. The work will involve excavation at 2 to 3 locations to obtain underground utility information. These locations will be repaired with temporary pavement. The work is needed to prepare for the water main repair at the Whitehall Way intersection. All investigative work will take place in the southbound lane on Cocoanut Row, and is expected to take two (2) evenings to complete. Each night excavation will begin at 9:00 p.m. The roadway will be restored and opened before 6:00 a.m. During construction, two-way traffic will be maintained by cones, signage, and flagman.

If you have any questions regarding this work, please contact Edric Martin (561) 718-4508 with Johnson-Davis, Inc. You can also contact the City Construction Coordinator, Robert Cato at (561) 541-4338.
