To ensure all Palm Beach County residents have the opportunity to review and discuss the newly released Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) with coastal mapping experts, FEMA Region IV is hosting two Public Flood Risk Open Houses in the county during the week of February 3, 2020.

At the Flood Risk Open House events, attendees will receive one-on-one, property-specific support from engineers, insurance specialists, members of the mapping team, and more. Residents are encouraged to attend whichever Open House is more convenient to learn more about their flood risk, how the new maps may impact flood insurance rates and requirements, and what they can do to help protect themselves and their property from future flooding.

The Public Flood Risk Open House meetings will be held:

Tuesday, February 4

4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Mary V. McDonald-Wilson Center

1505 N. Australian Avenue West Palm Beach, Florida 33401

Wednesday, February 5
