The Planning and Zoning Department announces two meetings of the Planning and Zoning Commission. The meetings will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 and Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Both meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor in the Town Hall, 360 South County Road.
The November 18, 2019 meeting will be a presentation by Josh Martin on the Approach, Scope and Schedule for Code Reform.
At the November 19, 2019 meeting, there will be a consideration of an application by The Breakers Palm Beach, Inc., requesting a zoning text amendment to Chapter 134, Zoning, to allow hotels, golf courses and other commercial uses customarily accessory to a principal use as a permitted use in the PUD-A zoning district and to allow site plan modifications in that district that do not exceed 2,500 square feet by administrative approval.
The backup material for the meeting is on file in the office of the Zoning Manager for the Town of Palm Beach, Florida, for public review. The office is open Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
