The Palm Beach Recreation Department is offering several programs this fall at alternate locations.

Adult programs, scheduled to begin the week of September 30, include exercise and language classes which will be held at Bethesda by the Sea, 141 South County Road, Palm Beach. Body Conditioning, a combination of an easy low impact warm up, lightweight work, mat work and Stretch & Relaxation, which combines fitness, dance and yoga stretches, designed to increase flexibility and balance will meet in the Parish Hall. Italian, French and Spanish, for all levels, are conducted almost entirely in the target language with native speaking instructors and focus on development of conversational skills. In addition to learning to speak the language, students will become acquainted with the culture, music, and food of the country where the language is spoken. Language classes will meet in the Library.

Youth programs will be held at Palm Beach Day Academy. Story Time Soccer, for ages 3-5, begins Monday, September 16, and teaches soccer through interactive stories and games where participants act out scenarios from the story and focus on footwork and ball control. This program allows participants to grasp soccer fundamentals, a positive impression of sports and an enormous head start on motor development! Indoor Soccer, for K-6th grade, will bring your child's skills to the next level, especially in the area of mobility and agility in this fun, educational program. Appropriate age groups will be arranged for practices and games which will begin Friday, September 20.
