A Safeguard Palm Beach community shredding and electronics destruction event will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023.  NEW LOCATION: St. Edwards Parish Hall, 165 N. County Road, Palm Beach.  The shredding and electronics destruction trucks will be stationed in the parking lot at St. Edwards Parish Hall.

Identity Theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world today and that makes properly disposing of confidential documents even more important than ever. Residents and those with small or home businesses are welcome to take part.   This event is not designed to accommodate large businesses or companies and there is a limit of 5 boxes per vehicle.

Excess IT Hardware is a social impact electronics recycler that will be offering their services at this community event free of charge.  Excess IT Hardware collects, refurbishes and recycles used electronics to help benefit the community.  At this event, they will accept PCs, Laptops, Servers, Networking Hardware, LCD monitors, cell phones, office phones and all other forms of IT Hardware.  Excess IT Hardware will have a hard drive crusher to use to destroy drives on-site should residents want to watch their drives be destroyed (hard drive must already be removed from the computer).
