N County Rd. Between Sunrise Ave. & Oleander Ave. will Close at 4PM Today for Public Utilities Work
The City of West Palm Beach and the Town of Palm Beach are working to improve and maintain the utility infrastructure.
Necessary repairs on a water main within the southbound lanes at 178 North County Rd. will begin today, Monday, November 8, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., to minimize the impact on daytime business traffic. Construction/repairs are expected to be completed within eight (8) hours. Completion is estimated at midnight.
Access to northbound traffic lanes on North County Rd. is expected to be re-established by pre-dawn Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Southbound access on North County Rd. will be maintained during the construction period.
To complete the project, there will be temporary road closure of the northbound lanes of North County Rd. between Sunrise Ave., and Oleander Ave.-Root Tr. Local traffic only.
General northbound traffic will be detoured:
o East on Sunrise Ave. to North Ocean Blvd., north on North Ocean Blvd. to Seminole Ave., west on Seminole Ave. to North County Rd.
o Access to Green’s Pharmacy of Palm Beach and Amici Market will be maintained on Sunrise Ave. Pedestrian access to Green Pharmacy and Amici Market will be maintained on North County Rd., however parking in front of Green’s and Amici’s will be temporarily unavailable.
