Master Plan for the Town Docks and Accessory Structures

The steps to begin the process for the master plan for the Town Docks and accessory structures began in January of 2017. The required procedures to select the consultant(s) has been completed and the work has begun.

Tasks to be completed include: visioning sessions,focus groups, public meetings, bathymetric survey, bulkhead inspection and recommendations, existing building inspection and recommendations, rate structure review and revenue maximization analysis, dock configuration concept alternatives, analysis of electrical service, parking alternatives, Wi-Fi service, security and centralized trash and recycling services, dredging requirements,  wave attenuation alternatives, water level and hydrodynamics analysis, construction staging and timing, estimation of construction costs, exploration of grant funding opportunities, financial forecasting of operating capital and debt servicing.
