Taxi Cab Permits

Each year, in August, there is a lottery for the Town’s twenty-five (25) taxicab permits.  To be included in the lottery, interested firms/persons should submit an application and a $225 application fee per entry (not to exceed $1,125), payable to the Town of Palm Beach. Applications must be received at the Town of Palm Beach Town Hall, located at 360 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480 by 5:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019. 

Each company will be able to submit up to five (5) entries into the lottery.  If selected for permitting, the applicant will choose which vehicle(s) to permit based on the Palm Beach County Consumer Affairs registry of actively permitted taxicabs.   

The random drawing will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Town Hall in the Town Council Chambers located on the second floor of 360 South County Road.

Limousine Permits

The Town of Palm Beach issues fifty (50) limousine permits.  These permits are renewable each year on October 1st.  If there are any permits that are not renewed, a lottery will be held for the available permits.
