The Recreation Department strives to provide outstanding recreation programs, facilities, and services which enrich and enhance the lives of its Palm Beach residents and visitors through the:
- Par 3 Golf Course
- Recreation Center
- Seaview Park and Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Centers
- Town Marina
Tennis Division
The Tennis Division, Seaview Park and Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Centers, includes a total of 13 hydro grid tennis courts offering drop-in play, lessons, clinics, mixers, tournaments, special events, and league play for children and adults throughout the year.
Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center is open from 8:00am-12:30pm every day. Please call the Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center at 561-227-6450 to make reservations or to inquire about mixer opportunities, lessons, clinics, and events.
Seaview Park Tennis Center is open from 7:30am-8pm Monday through Friday, and 7:30am-6:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Please call the Seaview Park Tennis Center at 561-838-5404 to make a reservation or to inquire about mixer opportunities, lessons, clinics, and events.
Par 3 Golf Course
Acquired in 1973 and renovated through the support of Raymond Floyd and the Par 3 Foundation, the Par 3 Golf Course, situated between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, offers a spectacular view and a great challenge to all skill levels. The Par 3 Golf Course offers clinics, private lessons, tournaments and walk-on play. A beautiful clubhouse, which opened in January 2014, offers a full-service pro shop and restaurant with ocean view dining.
Town Marina
The only public marina on the island of Palm Beach, the Town Marina has been providing berthing for power and sail yachts since the 1940s. A $38 million reconstruction was completed in 2021 remaking the old 'town docks' as a world-class yachting destination with 84 slips ranging in size from 60-294'.
The marina features the following:

• Bellingham concrete floating dock system
• Wider and deeper slips to facilitate super yachts
• Expanded shore power with up to 480 V, 200 amps power per slip
• High speed wireless internet
• High-capacity, in-slip pump-out
• 16-foot wide main pier with extra wide finger piers

• Gated docks with access control system
• State-of-the-art lighting
• Security cameras throughout
• Sustainable operations that protect the environment
• Three new Mediterranean style amenity buildings with shower facilities and lounge

The Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center
The Mandel Recreation Center, a 17,000-sq-ft. facility, includes a gymnasium, after-school room, fitness center, multi-purpose rooms, snack bar, game-room/lobby and administrative offices.
The Recreation Center, is currently offering;
- A variety of adult and youth enrichment and wellness classes
- Camps and Holiday Workshops
- Youth Sports
- Special Events
- Seminars/Workshops
- Facility Rentals
The Mandel Recreation Center is open Monday-Friday, 8:00am-7:00pm, Saturday, 9:30am-5:00pm and Sunday, 9:30am-5:00pm. The Center will be closed or have modified hours on designated holidays in 2022-2023:
Sec. 74-2. - Seaview Park; animals prohibited. No person shall bring into, or be responsible for bringing into, or allowing to remain upon the grounds of Seaview Park, any dogs, cats or other animals belonging to that person or in that person's possession, custody or control, whether leashed or unleashed, unless the animal is a service animal used to provide assistance to an individual with a disability or in the event the animal is part of an approved town recreation department program or event.
