Teen Police Academy


TEEN POLICE ACADEMY

What:   This program is modeled after the Citizen Police Academy and is designed to give young people an overview of the training undertaken by police officers. The program includes classroom instruction, exciting hands-on training, field trips and a graduation ceremony.

  
When:          Mon. - Fri.  -   June 8-12, 2015    -    (9am - 4pm)
 
  
Where:   Palm Beach Police Department, 345 South County Road, Palm Beach

  
Who Can Apply:   The Teen Police Academy is available for teens from 13-15 years of age who live in Palm Beach or attend school in town.

  
How to Apply:    Student and his/her parent should request an application form from the Palm Beach Police Department. Please call Police Community Relations Unit at 561-838-5467.  Applicants must be prepared to attend all sessions and must have permission to take part in all scheduled activities. There is no charge for these programs.  All lunches and transportation for field trips will be provided. A class shirt will also be provided.
