Deputy Chief Jeffrey Trylch
 Deputy Chief Jeffrey Trylch Deputy Chief Trylch joined the Department on June 30, 1986.  He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 1996 and appointed to the rank of Captain on November 28, 2007.  On, September 2, 2016, he was promoted to Deputy Chief by Public Safety Director Kirk Blouin. 

During his career, Deputy Chief Trylch served on the Firearms Committee for eight years.  He has received 58 commendations and has been designated as the Department’s Officer of the Month four times.  He was designated as the Kiwanis Officer of the Quarter one time. He twice received the Sons of the American Revolution Law Enforcement Commendation Medal. 

He is a graduate of Barry University where he received a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree.   .
