Building Division
Welcome to the Building Division
The Building Division, under the guidance of the Building Official, enforces local, state and national code requirements related to construction activities within the Town of Palm Beach. It’s primary goal is to ensure the life safety and general welfare of residents, visitors, employees and the general public. Any work involving the construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, demolition, or change of occupancy of a building or structure, or electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system is required to obtain a construction permit.

Our Hours...
The Building Division accepts applications for permits Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. except Town-designated holidays.

Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals
The Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals has the power to hear appeals of decisions and interpretations of the Building Official and consider variances of the technical codes.
