Basic Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
The town provides employees with basic life insurance at no cost in an amount equal to one time the employee’s annual base salary up to a maximum of $100,000.  Accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage matches basic term life amounts.

Employee Assistance Program
The town pays 100% of the monthly premium for employees and eligible household members. This free and confidential brief counseling and referral service is designed to help employees and their families overcome personal problems which affect their work, health, family relationships, and well-being. Services include:
  • Elder care services
  • Financial counseling and referral
  • Legal assistance and referral
  • Short-term counseling and referral
  • Work / life services

Fitness Center
Town employees have access to the fitness center located on the first floor of the central fire station across the street from town hall.  To use this benefit, employees will need to complete the Employee Fitness Center Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire, General Rules Form, and General Release / Hold Harmless Agreement.
