Fire Prevention
The Fire Prevention and Life Safety Divison focuses on educating the community about the benefits of proper fire safety practices and identifying and mitigating all types of hazardous conditions, which post a threat to life, property and the environment.

The Division is under the command of the Division Chief, who is also designated as the Town’s Fire Marshal. In addition to the Division Chief, there is one Assistant Fire Marshal/Fire Inspector and one Office Assistant II. The Division works closely with the Town’s Planning, Zoning, and Building Department to ensure safety through construction plan review and code compliance.

The Fire Prevention Division is responsible for issuing a variety of permits within the Town of Palm Beach service area.  The following permits are issued through our office.
