Palm Beach Recreation Center Summer Classes

Add some fun to your summer with karate, Kindermusik and fencing at the Palm Beach Recreation Center! 

Kindermusik, with Ms. Deborah, will take children and their parents, on a musical journey singing, dancing, exploring and playing instruments. Classes are held on Wednesdays, 10:30am-11:15am for 18 months to 3 years, and 11:30am-12:15pm for newborn to 18 months. Session I will run June 7 -June 28 and Session II will run July 5- July 26. The resident fee is $63/session and the fee for nonresidents is $72/session.

Sensei Tom Floyd of the Floyd Karate Institute will help your child develop self-confidence, self-discipline and self-control while promoting fitness, respect, socialization, and increased attention span, helping build character and so much more. Karate, for ages 5 and up, is held on Fridays from 4:30pm-5:30pm. The resident fee is $75/month and the nonresident fee is $86/month.

Fencing, with Michael Ruhala of Treasure Coast Fencing, teaches participants the art of the saber. This class is a fun way to improve physical fitness and mental agility. Skills learned in class can be transferred to self-defense with an umbrella, walking cane or simple stick! Classes are on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 for ages 9 and up. The resident fee is $125/month and the nonresident fee is $144/month.       

Registration for Town residents is ongoing. Nonresident registration begins May 17. To register, or for more information, contact the Recreation Center at 561-838-5485.
