Town Council to Appoint Member(s) to the Code Enforcement Board - REVISED

The Town of Palm Beach announces two regular members and one alternate Board member opening on the Town Code Enforcement Board effective April, 2017. 

The Code Enforcement Board hears cases involving violations of the Town Code of Ordinances and imposes administrative costs and other non-criminal penalties where a pending or repeated violation exists.  Members must be residents and are appointed by the Town Council on the basis of experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control.  The Board includes, whenever possible, an architect, business person, engineer, general contractor, realtor, subcontractor, general member, or person with experience in the field of public health.

All citizens interested in pursuing this important civic service must complete the appropriate application for service and submit it to the Town Clerk in hard copy or via electronic transmission to no later than March 29, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.   Applications received after the deadline will not be eligible for consideration. These appointments will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
