Seasonal Yard Trash Regulations - Set Out Schedule

The Town of Palm Beach reminds all residents and their landscape staff that from November 1st to April 30th, yard trash from their property can be placed on the public right-of-way adjacent to their property only ONE day prior to the day of collection. All other provisions of Section 102-45 of the Town Code of Ordinances, such as allowable height and size of yard trash piles, prohibiting the use of plastic bags, and other requirements, remain in effect all year.

This seasonal “one day” set-out restriction during this time of year is a necessary public safety measure due to the increased traffic volume within the Town. This regulation also enhances the appearance of the Town during this time of year which is especially important to residents. From May 1st to October 31st, the Town reverts to a 3-day set-out schedule to accommodate the faster vegetation growing season.

In the event anyone places yard trash out for collection outside of the prescribed schedule, the property owner will be subject to pay a fine in the fee schedule set forth in the above mentioned ordinance.
